To get started, register for a student license. Download the visual from the email and follow the steps here to install in Power BI desktop/service. In case you face any difficulties, look through the troubleshooting section.

Did you know that Inforiver helps you insert calculated rows or columns in your table/matrix reports without writing any DAX?  

One of the reasons we decided to build Inforiver is to deliver the simplicity, power, and comfort of spreadsheets right inside Power BI. Inforiver offers a powerful notes & annotations feature that allows you to tell compelling stories using your data. This feature allows report designers to annotate on specific observations at the cell, row or column level. You can also comment on row or column headers.

PRO tip: When you export your report to excel/PDF and or writeback data to databases & shared drives, your notes & annotations get saved too. 

Inforiver allows you to perform paginated and formatted Export to Excel/PDF. This means you can export your data while retaining the format. Specifically, you can 

• Export table/matrix along with formatting, hierarchy structure, notes, and comments
• Export to multiple Excel worksheets based on specific categories (as defined in page breaks) 
• Export to PDF by forcing page breaks for specific category items 
• Share exported Excel/PDF files by one-time email or recurring email (using the scheduler feature available in Inforiver Enterprise)  
• Export Excel/PDF files to shared drive destinations ((using the scheduler feature available in Inforiver Enterprise) 
• Export report including calculated rows, columns, and edited cells
