What's New: Inforiver Enterprise Matrix Release 2.9

In this webinar, we will explore the significant upgrades in Inforiver Enterprise 2.9, highlighting new capabilities such as enhanced writeback options, dynamic data inputs, and advanced forecasting controls.

This release also introduces integration of Power BI reports with Inforiver visuals into PowerPoint presentations, alongside improvements to aggregation, expand/collapse to column groups, and enhancements to the admin console.

1. Writeback

• Specify SID and service name for Oracle destinations to configure writebacks to specific database instances
• Auto writeback fixes and improvement to writeback console logs

2. Rollup comments for comments column: Consolidate the row-level comments from children in hierarchy.

3. Forecasting

• Goal Seek: Solve for a desired target by changing or adjusting the data input values
• Access Control for Forecasts

4. Data Input

• Filter context is now available for all data input types
• Bulk import/copy of values from csv/excel files
• Row ID Mapping: Configure the dimensions that should be used as row identifier

5. Aggregation

• Column aggregation: Apply custom aggregation for grand total and subtotal columns and capture them in the Manage aggregation interface
• Weighted averages: For data input and forecast columns, and insert formula apply weighted averages to total and subtotal rows, with distribution to child rows

6. Scheduler: Hourly refresh option for on-prem users, email report customization with bookmark names.

7. Expand collapse column group – Introducing expand/collapse button - enabling users to easily expand or collapse a grouped column.

8. PowerPoint integration for Inforiver: You can now integrate Power BI reports into PowerPoint presentations along with Inforiver visuals!
